Visual Odyssey is an exciting photography event that challenges participants to capture creativity, emotions, and stories through their lens. Designed to enhance observation and artistic skills, the event encourages students to think creatively and express their perspective through powerful visuals.
With theme-based challenges and storytelling rounds, participants will explore the art of photography while competing in a dynamic and inspiring environment. Open to all students — bring your device and your eye.
- Individual participation — 1 member per entry. No team entries.
- Open to all students. No prior photography experience required.
Indicative Themes
Note: Themes are indicative and may vary slightly during the event.
Announced on the spot. Capture 1–3 photographs based on the given theme within campus premises only.
45–60 minutes. Campus premises only. Previously captured images strictly prohibited. Minimal edits only (brightness, contrast, cropping).
Shortlisted participants submit a series of 3–5 photographs plus a short caption or concept (2–3 lines) explaining their photo set.
- Each participant must use their own device — mobile phone or camera.
- Only basic editing is allowed: brightness, contrast, cropping. Advanced editing, filters, or manipulation is not permitted.
- All photographs must be captured during the event duration only. Previously captured or external images = disqualification.
- Plagiarism or use of external images will lead to disqualification.
- Participants must adhere to the given time limit strictly. Late submissions will not be accepted.
- The decision of judges is final and binding.
